Life of Riley (“Riley”) is a 2019 foal by ES Liberty Gold out of HPM Maui. Since birth, he has been our little buddy. Total “in your pocket” sweet personality like his sire - you could not ask for a better temperament in a horse and this is a major trait passed on by Liberty Gold to all of his offspring (as well as gorgeous looks and movement, of course!). It doesn’t hurt that Riley’s movement is lovely and he has nice conformation with a kind, gentle eye.
We love Riley so much that we are keeping him as a riding horse for our family but we strongly encourage you to take a close look at his little brother Leonidas, who is very similar to Riley in personality but possesses even flashier movement and truly excellent conformation, if you are interested in the perfect adult amateur dressage horse!
Riley learned the basics with the amazing Richard Schouten of Remount Horsemanship near Pittsboro, NC and is now in training with Emme Johnston. He made his Training level debut in February 2024 and has been in the ribbons ever since.
